The Courage Collective is designed to give you the structure, accountability, and support that so many miss after leaving service. Through expert-led coaching, discussion groups, and practical tools, you’ll gain clarity on your next steps, build confidence in your abilities, and develop the resilience to thrive in your new chapter.
This is a space where you’ll be supported by people who truly ‘get it’—because no one should have to navigate transition alone.
This isn't about paying for something that should be free, it’s about offering high-quality, tailored support that helps you thrive in your next chapter.
The real question is 'how much is it worth to you to have clarity and feel confident as you step into your next chapter'?
Why did I create The Courage Collective?
The Courage Collective is what I wished I had been able to access all those moons ago...
Too many good-hearted, talented, amazing people like you, are struggling to find their place in the world when they hang up their uniform for the last time.
I want you to realise sooner, that your success and happiness in the next chapter of your life does not depend on your rank or qualifications.
I want to help you FIND YOUR MAGIC —faster, with more support, and without feeling like you’re doing it alone.
My goal is for you to find your sparkle as you decide who you want to be as you create your new life.
Choosing to leave your service is a tough decision.
Or maybe you didn't get a choice.
Either way, it can leave you feeling isolated, uncertain and unconfident about where you go next.
I loved being in the Army and the challenges that came with it. But when the time came to step away, I wasn’t ready.
I worked in an under-manned operational unit so there wasn't the capacity to attend resettlement courses. I had a toddler at home and a husband deployed on the frontline. Focusing on myself simply didn't happen and so I left everything until the last minute. I had to ask for a 6 month post-service extension to complete my resettlement and wasn't able to attend the course I really wanted to as they were popular and fully booked.
Resettlement isn't as simple as '2 years to get ready to leave'. The one size fits all approach doesn't work for everyone.
I was told I 'should' be earning a certain amount in a certain type of job because I was 'this rank' - when all I wanted was to earn enough to take our family on holiday, contribute to the bills and feed my shoe habit!
I felt totally ready yet sad and underwhelmed on the day I left.
18 years of my life yet not a single formal acknowledgement.
I left feeling low, not proud and in truth, not wholly confident about where I was going next.
It was only during my black cloud of severe postnatal depression and anxiety a few years after leaving, did I realise that no-one had ever asked me what MY values were, or helped me understand MY needs. I had wholly given myself in service and along the way, had forgotten who I was.
It’s taken me ten years to find my clarity and figure out who I am beyond the rank, the cap badge, and the expectations that had defined me.
Now I've found MY MAGIC in helping other people find their magic in what lights them up so that good hearted, courageous folk like you can light up the world and help others do the same.

Who this is and is not for...
This isn't one of those groups where you just join, loiter and lurk in the background.
The Courage Collective is a proactive space where you're choosing to take simple action towards your goals, within the community of other service leaders and leavers who really get it.
If you are someone who wants to make steady progress, with community support, resources and a professional coach and are prepared to do the work, this is probably going to be for you.
I'm going to say this bluntly, and with love - if you need some hand holding, want to blame the world on your particular situation and want a quick fix solution, it's probably not going to be the right fit.
I've coached dozens of leaders; military and civilian - from the uniformed services, schools and civilian companies through to the NHS and the UN. I only work with people who are 100% committed to doing what is necessary - anything else is a waste of your money and both of our time.
